  • in 1979, Clyde Wright created the "Gospel Caravan Quartet" for the "Gospel Caravan", a gospel musical which received rave reviews in Paris. Clyde sang with Marion Williams, Sally Martin as well as Tisha Campbell, a 9 year old who would soon become a Hollywood superstar.
  • was knighted to the "Ordre des Arts et des Lettres" by Jacques Toubon (French Minister of Culture);
  • returned as lead soloist with "The Golden Gate Quartet" in 1984;

  • 2001 returns to the GOLDEN GATE QUARTET and now tours exclusively with them.
